Auto Body As A New Skill

I have been working for the same security company since I moved to my area a few years back. Before that, I did security at another company. I have pretty much been stuck in this same type of job for the past 10 to 15 years. I am getting bored and I believe that I should go back to school in order to learn some new things. I do not have the money to head to a big university, so I am thinking about going to a technical school and looking into doing something that involves auto body.

In the past, I have done some minor repairs on cars and made a few bucks in my spare time. It would be nice to take this on as a full-time career. I would love to learn more about collision repairs since it seems someone I know is always looking to have some dents pulled out and things of that nature. I am going to do some research to see what I can come up with. Hopefully, there is a reasonably priced school in the area. If so, I’d love to get the ball rolling right away. I keep seeing posts on Facebook about “follow your passion” a lot more frequently lately, so maybe this is a sign to push me in the direction I need to go.
